Adding Fabric Mods to Minecraft
Welcome to my tutorial on how to add fabric mods to Minecraft using Curseforge! Fabric is a popular mod loader that allows players to easily install and manage mods in their Minecraft game.
*Please Note* If you're playing on Zodiac Craft, certain mods are against the rules. You may use quality-of-life mods like inventory managers, mini maps, and inventory HUDs, but nothing that will alter gameplay or give you an advantage over other players. If you're uncertain whether you can use a particular mod, please ask on our Discord.
The mods I use on the server are available as a mod pack that you can download HERE. If you choose to use my mod pack, follow step one, and on step two, select the import a profile link at the top of the create profile window. Navigate to the zip folder you saved and click open.
Here's how you can get started:
- First, you'll need to download and install Curseforge. You can do so here: https://download.curseforge.com
- Next, you will need to install the Fabric loader. This can be done within Curseforge by clicking on Create Custom Profile, naming your new profile, choosing a Minecraft version (as of 12/29/2022, the server is on 1.19.2), and selecting the game type Fabric. The modloader version will autofill, and you shouldn't need to change it. Once you're finished, click Create.
- Once the Fabric Loader is installed, click on the new profile that you just created. Click Add More Content. Choose the mods you would like to use. When you're finished, click Play.
